Wow, you've only been writing fanfic since November? I'm impressed, not just with the amound of fics you've written but also the quality. You have a real grasp of the character voices and write the scenes so well I almost feel like I'm watching an episode.
Well, I've only been writing fanfic since November, but I've been writing original fiction since I was eight years old, which means I've had twenty-three years to get a handle on the process. ;)
I'm glad you think I got the voices down, though, because that's always a concern for me. :D
You know, I luvs me some angels [hello Castiel!] but sometimes it's hard to write case fic when you KNOW it's all apocalypse all the time.
And I'm a huge fan, but I don't know if I want a season 6. How do you top the apocalypse? I say this now of course and the writers could have tons of stuff up their sleeves and won't I have egg on my face then.
But I do long for the 'simpler' times sometimes. you know?
So do I. I miss the times when it was just Sam 'n' Dean.
I do like Castiel in the context of the current plot, but part of me keeps wanting to drag him away (STOP TAKING SAMMY'S PLACE IN DEAN'S LIFE!) and make him go find God already. ;)
I know what you mean about trying to top the apocalypse. Personally, I'm hoping for them to bring it back down to a much more intimate level: apocalypse averted, but one of the boys comes out of it really broken, and the season focuses on fixing that (much like Season 3 focused on getting rid of Dean's deal, even if it failed), and helps them rebuild the relationship that got all mangled in Season 4.

But that's just me. ;)
