i just drove a car

with no power steering
and a tape deck

i know, i was once like you all who thought these breeds of "car" were well and truly exinct. WELL THEY ARE NOT.

i just wish i was made of aware of the lack of power steering before i reversed out of a driveway and nearly sideswiped three bystanding vehicles. oh well.

Aah a tape deck

wow my tape days were so cool. Iused to listen to jjj each night to record the cool songs and then listen to them on end in the car. except it totally sucks when a tape breaks in a car stereo

making tapes!!! oh my gosh the memories. such effort. and you could never get rid of the person introducing the song since they always talked over the beginning and the end just to make it harder for us!!

and you had an "advanced" tape deck if it had an option that meant it could fast forward through to the next song instead of whever you pushed the stop button. how could it tell???

I have a friend who had a tape deck in his car once. He left it parked in Cabramatta one night and had his car broken into. Apparently, the thieves saw the tape deck and felt so sorry for him that they installed a 6 stacker CD player...

The great thing about a tape deck is... the sound it makes when it hits the pavement from a great height....

my car that got stoled nearly 2 years ago had a tape deck.
but my thieves weren't nice enough to replace it and leave the car.
obviously ... since it got stoled.
