how could it leave me standing alone in a world thats so cold?

for around 20 minutes this afternoon i had a terrible feeling that my beloved old-school mobile was ... DEAD.

out of nowhere, the screen started telling me to insert my sim card.
"but it is inserted!" i cried back.
we argued back and forth.
i turned it off and on. off and on. had a quick pray. took the battery off. turned it off and on. off and on.

but, as quickly as it had its breakdown, it came back to me, in all its 5110 glory. sure there were no colourful screensavers, polyphonic ringtones or high-tec games. but it was as good as it ever was, and as good as i hope it will be for many years to come.

so tonight i give FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS to:
- old school phones that refuse to cark it
and ZERO OUT OF FIVE STARS to:
- the situation that has happened to 50% of my train trips this week: when you are sitting in a 2 seater and someone else gets on and decides they don't like sitting in 4 seaters so they flip the seats over so that i have the four seater. how can they change MY seating arrangements?? I chose to sit in a 2 seater for a reason. it is rude and ruder and i swear (even though i said i'd do it after the first time it happened to me this week) that the next time it happens to me ... and it will happen ... i am just going to flip the seat back as calmly and cooly as they did.

the end.
