This article is interesting as I'm having the same problem looking for shoes that are my size. Anyone who is curious, I am a size 9. That's right a size 9. It's nothing to be ashamed of but at the same time I am ashamed and disappointed that shoes I love don't come in my size. I have been on a hunt for size 9 Dr Martens all week and nothing. I heard that they are ordering them which is a wow in my book.
Fortunately shops like New Look, Topshop and River Island are jumping onto the bigger size bandwagon. I have bought a pair of ballet pumps in New Look last summer and it was only a bargain; around £16, I think. Can't really remember. Uggs also do big sizes too. I can fit into size 8.5. With the extra warmth and comfortable material in the boots, you can't go wrong. Sadly my mum and I had a debate on me wanting to buy them. She branded them as 'ugly'. I currently envy my good friend for owning a pair.
Clothes aren't such a problem as much. My figure is slim. I'm not skinny or anorexic, just only slim. I yearn for curves and extra meat on my arms. I don't like looking at photos of myself with the skinny type of arms especially if I am wearing a t-shirt.
So F-list, what is your shoe size and are you proud of your size? Is it hard to look for shoes in your size. If so, what is your alternative?
That's all
