Thirty-First BriWi Post Of 2009
1. Don't worry that picture is very recent, and so is the news of Brian Williams receiving a FDNY's Humanitarian Award. For those who are curious pre-Nightly was a working voluntary as a firefigther.
2. Just went to Soup Cans to find the link for number one, and my fave Shepard Smith drops an F-bomb so 'fucking' basically. I haven't watched him for ages. Does anybody who if he still does that 'Daily Britney' segment? That was the lulz before show was over.
3. It has been an interesting college week this week, of course. To find out yesterday that there'll be no media class on Tuesday and Wednesday because the teachers are marking the A-level student's work (I think). It gives me a chance to take photos for my homework, which I already have during my half term break. Somehow I'm addicted to travelling; and I'm enjoying walking more around the back streets of Liverpool Street to Aldgate.
4. I saw Ismahan for the first time in ages. We only said 'hi'. I guess she was on her lunch break; I was returning to my lesson.
5. I got a distinction for my advertising work; the glossary and the research for qualitative and quantitative research and compare them with structured and semi-structured interviews. Lucky me again.
6. I saw Miss B. I was on the bus though. She was about to cross the road; I think she was doing a spot of shopping. I knocked on the window and that failed. I managed to call twice but she didn't pick up, however on my way back to college she did call me. I told her about the questionnaires that I'm doing for media; she is going to do one, hopefully.
7. I came home late yesterday. I was out and about in Canary Wharf again. Going home was hard, and thank goodness I did not consider hitch hiking or anything crazy.
