"Well, Fuck" at 4:30 in the morning is worrying.

Subject unrelated to post. Anyways! Word spewing time!

It feels really good to be behind the wheel of my car again. I drove it through a puddle* back in the great flood of 2010 last week, and it needed some manual turnover to get it going again. Also, to add insult to injury, the break line snapped while I was driving it home from the garage, and then I had to drive it back to the garage on the residual brake fluid left in the pads. Even though it was only city driving, that's a real scary experience. My car was all, "oh, yea, I might not stop all the way, or at all. That cool with you?" To which I said "NOT COOL DUDE NOT COOL" and it got the hint that it should stop for me, just this once.

The public transit in this damn state is so shitty, too, I was actually looking up bussing options to work for the time my car was out of order, but the problem is there are two buses to the right place: One at 8:30 in the morning, and the other at 3:30 PM. Starting work at 1 and ending work at midnight make it reeeeeeal difficult to take those buses. I wish RIPTA were at least a little less stupid, so maybe I could have saved some people driving my butt around for a week like a loser. That, or my hours being less dumb. I still love having mondays off.

SPEAKING OF MONDAYS. It is like, a thing I do to go to Trinity Brewhouse, followed by the Scurvy Dog in Providence. I know it is kind of getting old at this point, and I miss having someone who is not steffi and her boyfriend and... whatever that girl is that I keep bringing to stuff, as the whole "double date" aspect of it is lost when only stephanie talks and then I feel awkward while jess sits there silently and yea and stuff.** I don't even really know why I'm posting stuff. I think I just felt like spewing some words onto the internet for lack of a better place to put them. The kind of people who I would say awkward things about don't really read this anyways, so HA HA HA I AM AWESOME ETC. Also a jerk. See **  for more details. I am still having tons of fun on the weekends, but it's been a different flavor as of late. I'm not sure if it's an acquired taste or just something different... But I miss a little bit when it was me, paul, alicia, and stephanie, and none of us were interested in any of us (except paul, because damn does that boy need a girlfriend. I would appreciate being woken up in the middle of the night by him finally getting some action, oh and did I mention we have an apartment together now? yes.)

Walking around Providence makes me feel really good. I took a walk down Wickenden St. with my (insert term for whatever it is) the other day, got some pizza, checked out some of the shops... It was relaxing. Felt good to use my legs, felt good to be in the sun, and felt good to experience the city that I'm living in. It's finally starting to feel like home.
