Reliving Prom night

Eric and I went to the Hawk 'n Tom 80's prom June 7.  We had a blast!  Of course I have to say our dinner experience was an interesting one.  We at the Melting Pot (fondue restuarant).   Our waitress was definitely new b/c she asked us the same question like 3 times and plus we could she was nervous.  When she made our cheese fondue she put like a whole 1 cup of chopped garlic.  When we ate it all we could taste was the garlic lol.  After we were done w/our salads and the cheese fondue she came around asking us how things were and that she'll come check on our cheese in 10 min.  The cheese fondue was gone to the bottom of the pot!!  And then when she was clearing our table she tried to pick up the whole fondue pot (all metal w/a metal handle) off the burning while it was still HOT!  This girl is crazy lol.  Then she went to get our entree fondue.  It was a red wine base, she poured the red wine in, spilling about 1/4 of it onto the grill!  She, "we're suppose to pour it on there to make it heat up faster".  Eric and I looked at each other and smirked.  We still enjoyed our food though lol.

The prom was located at The Hyatt in downtown gville.  It was cool b/c the theme was the awesome 80s and we saw a lot of people dressed up in the 80s era.  The songs they played were mostly 80's and they had a prom king & queen contest too.  The whole night was very nice and special.  They played a slow song "Let's get it on" and we slowed danced to it.  It was very sweet and loving.

After the prom we went to Oysters on the Westend where Eric had a beer and then we left.  It was a wonderful and beautiful night :-D
