Monday in Green and Blue
Lunchtime. Just got back from firing range detail. Very nice day. Maybe too nice. Sunny. Too warm with no clouds. Uhg. Glad to be rid of flak vest and kevlar helmet. Brown t-shirt soaked with sweat - only dry spot is bra outline. And I didn't even do anything strenuous, just drove the 5-ton and performed radio checks.
MRE choice: Vegetarian, Cheese Tortellini. Not very appetizing at moment. Will finish leftover chicken strips instead, save MRE entre for rainy day.
Side note: extra paddining in kevlar works to diminish helmet-hair. :-)
Hungry. Only nibbled on MRE for breakfast. Must eat now.
