Thanks to carrieish for allowing me to post this here.

Project Puppy Love is a way for dogs and their owners to help other animals who have, unfortunately, not yet found their forever homes. The project is just starting up and will continue throughout the 2006 holiday season. If the project is successful, I plan on making it a year-round venture. The project sprung from one of my recent projects -- making Gage and Una coats for the cold weather. The enjoyment I got fromng the coats and the compliments I've received on them have spurred me on to this charity project.

The idea behind the project is really simple. Warm dogs, warm hearts. Buy doggie coats from Project Puppy Love at $20 a piece and 50% of the cost of each coat will be donated to one of three local animal shelter. Donations will be divided between the three shelters. The coats are handmade, by me, from a pattern I drafted but they are very similar to other patterns you'll find out there.

I didn't include all the details about the project, so as to not spam those that aren't interested but for more information about the project, to see the styles offered and for ordering information, please visit this post in my journal. The project is explained in more detail there.

Thank you!
