So this forest god takes the form of three different men first, and then conveniently a woman when it gets bloodily beheaded in gruesome detail by Sam. Why am I not surprised? Also of course it's Gandhi we see them beat up, rather than the famous white guys, i.e. James Dean or Lincoln. And then the rare Hispanic character (I don't really remember any minor or guest Hispanic characters on Supernatural if they were there in the past) was the Hispanic housekeeper cliche, that wasn't great either.
The fans bothered me less than I expected after hearing that Supernatural would feature fans yet again, at least I didn't have to interrupt watching to take a time out to cringe in embarrassment, as has happened in past episodes.
I also liked that they were doing a MotW ep for once instead of angels and demons all the time, and I liked how Sam confronted Dean about wanting to be a full partner, and that in the end their discord wasn't all blamed on Sam's actions anymore, and that they seem to be working things out. So I was quite happy with that part.
I don't know at all what to make of the preview collage, that seemed quite confusing mostly.
