You know, dreaming about LJ activity is bad enough, but now with fanlore fannish wiki-editing is featuring in my dreams too (though at least the dream also had a wacky action-adventure plot with some convoluted villain plan). This is getting kind of pathetic. I'm not even that active there.

But maybe I'm not alone at least?

No, mostly because I haven't done any editing at fanlore ;-).

Heh, you should try, it is fun. I mostly add little bits here an there that occur to me, rather than investing a huge effort in writing long articles though.

I don't have any experiencing in editing a wiki, I wouldn't even know where or how to start!

I've never edited a wiki before this one either. There are some wiki-formatting things, but those are explained in a table on the help section, and a couple of fanlore specific templates, but for the most part you just sign in (I do it with Open ID because I didn't want to memorize yet another password), click on an "edit" link for an article and add somethingyou feel is missing. Making new ones is easy too, whenever you search for something and the term doesn't have an entry yet it offers you to create it. Of course skimming the "about fanlore" section for policies helps too, but it is uncomplicated.

I wish I could deny it, but yes, I have dreamed about it too. Probably because fanlore editing is often the last thing I do before I go to bed. *facepalm*

I have not dreamt of fanlore specifically, but I've dreamt about OTW before, when things were really stressful.
