this week's SGA

Aww, team breakfast. Ronon pulling Rodney's leg about the supposedly emo!Woolsey was great. Rodney seemed a bit jealous that John is spending time elsewhere. And Rodney falls for Ronon again when he sort of implies that Sheppard might actually get some. It's just too easy to have him on. But I really like the Rodney/Ronon interaction here. I wonder whether John and Ronon ever share tips on how have Rodney on.

And of course it got even better when we then we see poor Sheppard suffering with biologists. His rather pained "Lorne warned me about this." was great.

Overall I wasn't that enthused about yet another variation of the hallucination plot (how many times did we have that now?), but it was still enjoyable. I liked the character stuff, and though the Sheppard-torture didn't have me that anxious, I still always have a soft spot for John suffering.

Though wow, John's kind of messed up. I mean, Woolsey hallucinates a romantic fantasy of his dream woman, and she helps him out to work through the IOA's machinations (even before the AI tricks Xiao(sp?) in the end), that's rather well adjusted, not to mention fun and helpful, compared to Sheppard who mostly imagines being tortured and maimed.

Though he also seems to imagine that a cut-off hand doesn't bleed all that much, that he won't go into shock, and still be able decimate the Genii who were courteous enough in his fantasy to take the non-dominant had. So I guess in his mind he's also an even more awesome action hero than in reality to balance the guilt. *g*

Rodney imagining that Zelenka compliments him was cute though.
