I found the episode really funny, mostly because I think Ghost Hunters is the most ridiculous reality show in the history of reality shows, and they got all the silly elements of the TAPS crew and their investigations down pat. But the funniest part was the "power walk" at the start of the pilot - hysterical.
Loved the Coven poster in their HQ - too perfect!
I liked Corbett a lot and thought his crush on Ed was adorable, and although it was definitely mined for laughs, I though Ed's moment with death echo Corbett had a genuine sweetness to it.
I never even had heard of Ghost Hunters before seeing the episode reactions to Supernatural, so I missed the paradoy aspects. (also, how does a ghost hunting reality show even work without ghosts?) But yeah, Corbett's crush was kind of sweet.

Answer: It doesn't, not really! :) The show features a lot of people walking around dark hallways with beeping gizmos and night vision gear gasping about cold spots and shadows that maybe kinda moved a little.
