Drabble Two: China

Dec 17, 2011 17:45

7:20am in Shanghai finds Adam cradling a dead-to-the-world Tommy, his body a pleasant weight against his own. Adam looks outside through a crack in the curtains. He shifts to see better, Tommy rolling away to the other side of the mattress.

Grabbing a robe from the foot of the bed, Adam wraps up, pads to the window, Tommy squeaking at the sudden brightness.

“Baby. Wake up and come see.”

Tommy sits, a hand in his hair as he blinks at the sight before him.

Adam turns and beckons him.

Yawning, Tommy shivers, snuggles against Adam inside the warm robe.

“Snow.”
