I'm hungry, so I might not be able to concentrate on this.

Em.

So Ava and I were commenting the other day on how shitty the London bombing fandango was. And I don't mean how awful it is to loose lives so pointlessly like that - thats too obvious for someone like me who is so un-connected to the whole thing to even comment on. But come on, driving planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon was so obvious and symbloic, this - a bomb on a bus and on 3 underground trains - it's really not at all impressive (planning-wise, nerve, whatever). And is the city (nevermind the whole country) in chaos? Nope. And the politicians handled it well (at first they said the train explosions were caused by a "power surge" so the public would not be scared or paniced since that is what the terrorists wanted), and the emergency sevices were fantastic - and continue this great work, and the general public in London were fab too. I don't thuink anyone could have prevented this. I am definately not a nationalistic person but on a personal note, well done everyone for showing how well this country can manage in the face of adversity - hopefully they wount bother testing us again.

I note the G8 only went along with part of the Africa thing and there is no develoments on global warming, other than America finally admitting it is an issue. Perhaps more people would know this if the press didn't have the London thing to manage. In other news a little girl has also been murdered, just so you know. So all the big pop concerts were worth it then?

Closer to home, Izzy has started shuffle crawling and is curently wrecking some photo- paper. The other day I saw her licking the playstation. I was out with Kirsty the other day too since she is back in Glasgow. I must say, I did miss her - she's the perfect friend for talking into doing things with - i.e. going out, trying something new or buying food. Needless to say she found John vaguely disturbing when she met him. He says I am to Kirsty, what he is to me (well, it makes sence to me) but I'm not quite sure.
