Well. I guess I got into Avengers fandom. And sooner than I planned an definitely not the way I planned.
But I said I planned to write what I wanted to write when I wanted to write it and that's what I'm doing...
And now I'm going to come out to you guys with some of the crap I've written so far.
I started by writing
a little semi-romantic snippet for a pairing I don't even like especially (Clint/Coulson. I adore Coulson. He's so cute when he's holding on the phone with Natasha. It's Clint... People say they don't get Coulson's popularity, but if we're going strictly movie fandom, he's in more films, has more lines & screen time than Hawkeye. Maybe Hawkeye kicks ass in the comics and/or cartoons? Maybe Jeremy Renner gives off these pheremones that do not affect me at all?). It's anon because 1) it's too short and underdeveloped & 2) it's probably horribly OOC. Anyway, the part of the prompt I filled was for "Clint/Coulson. where Clint is a Clint/Coulson fic writer and Coulson, without knowing his identity, is his beta. maybe Clint is really bad in spelling and sometimes Coulson wants to give up, but his characterization on Clint is so perfect that Coulson almost believes Clint's fics can come true."
Then, I wrote something that I planned to write in some way, but not the way I planned. Here's
some Loki/Tony noncon that's also anon because 1) it's too short and underdeveloped and 2) I don't think I pulled off the style as well as I wanted to. I wasn't ready to write a full fic and I couldn't resist the OP's "bonus" of Tony getting all the more disturbed by the rape because the hands that are touching him are the hands that [SPOILERS] killed Agent Coulson. Oh, and the prompt was for Tony to have provoked Loki because he needed to buy time.
Then, I wrote
ever so slightly cracky friendship fluff... That is anon because 1) it's definitely underdeveloped (I put little effort into the descriptive part) and 2) it's probably horribly OOC. Anyway, the prompt was for secretly sentimental Tony saving all the junk the other Avengers give him.
...I'm positive it's OOC for Barton & Romanov at least...
...I need to rewatch the movies, but I've lent them out to coworkers so that they can go see The Avengers and we can geek out together...
Anyway, today I wrote something I didn't go anon on because hey,
Captain America retold as an episode of The Storyteller doesn't have to be in character (except for the Storyteller and his dog).
Of course, I was planning to work on
something else, but...
Oh well. I was bored at work today and fairy tale AUs are workplace friendly.
