So... according to this article... I want the below listed items for valentines day... really?
How about, heeeeeelllll no.
You know what I'd love? Quality time. A trip to the spa where she coordinates all the effort. A day where I get to sit back and do nothing. How about a card? Not a store bought. I simply detest thoughs. Seriously... i do not like. They're a waste of money. I'd much rather some awesome home made card. I'd rather a piece of art, a song, or a dance.
You see, it's valentines day. It's a day that doesn't really mean anything because every day should be a valentines day if you really care for someone, but if you're going to remind yourself "oh hell yeah I love this person" and feel the need to do something special, I feel it should be personal.
Go see the world and find an amazing view to share. Climb a giant tree together or get into a snowball fight you might not normally get into. travel somewhere and share the experience. Go out for dinner or stay in and cook for each other. Remind each other why you ARE in love and then kiss like there's no tomorrow. Create experiences and memories that will last the rest of your lives... ( you know... like buy me superbowl tickets...
do you have 5k per person to spare?)
The stuff down below... whatever. There's no thought. There's no love. It's just "hi, i have money, let me buy your affection with it now".
for some people that may work. not me. I don't do that, and I sure the HELL don't want that. anyway, the list for your enjoyment/horror/drooling (if it works for you).
