Nickolas, what's your ductility? What's your Yield Point?

A poem:
Stress, strain, toughness, yield point, ultimate strength
Grain size, hardness number, crystal structure
I bend, I stretch, but what am I?
Am I a metal, with a medium amount of ductility
High toughness, medium strain rate...
Or a ceramic, with low ductility
Medium toughness, and a tendency to rupture abruptly?
Could I be described as a polymer, with high ductility
And I stretch so far and deform so fast
But how much does it take to break polytetraflouroethylene?
But how much does it take to break cordierite?
But how much does it take to break 1084 Steel?
I'll bend and bend, til I'm wrapped around myself a hundred times
I'll stretch farther than your eyes can see, as far as 1/0 (infinity)
I'll withstand more pressure than a billion atmospheres
My life can be described by material science.
But still, I can change material day to day as long as
I don't reach my ultimate strength.

No one will understand this.
