Fic and Icon Challenge
Hi everyone!
In keeping with the results of our recent poll, we'd like to announce a new fic and icon challenge.
It's Springtime and things are turning lush and green, thanks to those April showers. There's just something about rain, something sensual and beautiful. Lying in bed with the one you love, listening to the rain drumming the roof. Walking down a country lane with the warm rain on your skin. Kissing under an awning in the middle of a pounding rainstorm. The smell of it in the air, so clean, so unforgettable.
Rain is a powerful and primal force and it's the theme of this fic and icon challenge. Authors, write a Skinner/Krycek story in which rain plays a role. Maybe they're trapped together somewhere during a storm, or a walk on the beach on a rainy day turns into a passionate romp on the sand.
There is no minimum or maximum length for stories. Write a snippet or write a full-length fic, if you prefer.
Icon artists, use the rain as an element to make your icons beautiful, haunting or even humorous. Whether it's Alex and Walter kissing beneath a veil of rain or a drowned Rat seeking shelter, let your imagination run wild.
Deadline is April 30th. That's roughly three and a half weeks, I think. Does that sound like enough time? If not, I can change it.
