i have a job now. its an on-campus one; filing, mainly. its kind of boring, but its really not that bad. my boss is really cool, i can basically choose my own hours for the week (even though right now they don't have much room for me so i don't get to work too many hours, anyway), and i can listen to music while i work. today i worked with another student and he showed me what to do. wasn't bad. he was pretty cool. except his favorite national team is italy... bunch of divers....

while eating dinner tonight i watched the travel channel. the special was on this cruise ship; except it wasn't a cruise ship... it was basically a gated community that travels the world. it was ridiculous. it was like a cruise ship full of condos. huge. and it only houses like 350 guests on the entire ship. even at full occupancy the place still looks deserted. it was ridiculous. this one woman opened up her fridge, picking up different items and naming the country of origin of each; cheese from spain, wine from france, bottled water from england, oranges from X, butter from Y. like i said, ridiculous. they had ballrooms and four ***** restaurants, putting greens and pools, a bar and a theatre... traveling the world in some crazy crazy style.

two weeks. can seem. like forever.
