Glorious Day
It was such a gorgeous day today. Thanks be to the Lord and Lady for the peaceful interlude. I'm so thankful for the ability to enjoy some sun, gentle breeze, green grass, bright flowers, trees, and the wondrous chorus of birds...all in the company of my Honey.
The yard man finished his work early today so the grounds are looking kempt again. It was wonderful to spend the late afternoon, sitting in peace on our front porch; just watching nature's bounty unfold before our eyes.
Afterwards, my step-sister who was traveling in DC, came out for a visit. It was lovely sharing our news over a refreshing glass of mead-spritzer.
Then I took the Solstice for a ride around the block. It was awesome to feel the wind and speed once again.
