I've never met one myself, but my aunt did see the ghost of my uncle after he had died.

It's not that I think it would be frightening to see one, it's just that they can walk through walls, and anybody might be getting dressed on the other side, and being dead, ghosts might not care about that sort of thing anymore, but I'd still feel strange about people I couldn't see seeing me without trousers on.

Well, I think it's more 'perceive' rather than 'see'. Ghosts don't have eyes. They know who you are through your own psychic energy.

No, I wasn't being pedantic, I'm saying that regardless of whether or not you're wearing trousers, the ghost wouldn't realise either way. I imagine they'd assume that you were wearing them unless you made a point of thinking about it.
