Yes. [He can't get out of Zero soon enough. The psychic residue there gets unpleasant after five days.]

[Omega doesn't bother replying and is down there very quickly.] I trust you won't be insulted if I don't have an armed guard? [He's maybe spending too much time with Brax.]

Not at all. I'm hardly a violent criminal. [Mental violation doesn't count as violence in Narvin's CIA-indoctrinated head.]

[He lets him out and moves to walk along side him.] I'm glad it's resolved.

As am I. [He walks for a few moments in silence before speaking again.]

Is Lord Rassilon taking the failure of the mission well? [Time Lord political code for: How screwed am I for failing?]

He's taking the ever mature position of 'well, I don't want to work with him again anyway!'. I think my reaction rather deflated any desire for revenge if that's why you ask.

PWM post is so distracting. Soooo distracting. timesbureaucrat February 3 2011, 02:13:25 UTC
Ah. Well, I'm glad he won't be trying to find a way to have me vaporized in any event. [His feelings on the first point are a mix of relief and shame. Rassilon's orders often had the unfortunate tendency to be morally problematic, but Narvin hated being tossed aside as useless.]

Oh, yes. rass_bestie February 3 2011, 02:19:48 UTC
I wouldn't permit it. [They move quickly to Omega's room, he doesn't want to risk encountering Una (though he's reasonably sure he could block them from view.]

Thank you. For defending my interests against Lord Rassilon, and for having me as your house guest. I'll try to stay out from under foot. I suppose meditation and reintegrating some of the partitioned bits of my mind may be in order. [He's not looking forward to it. He doesn't enjoy spending time in his own mind poking in the the corners and locked cupboards to see what he's hidden from himself in there]

I knew what I was getting myself into. [He closes the door behind them and starts the meandering path to his room, though it's different route than last time.]

[Narvin notices that the route isn't the same. He's automatically and almost subconsciously working on creating a layout of the ship in his mind, but transcendental engineering makes that more complicated than two trips can possibly sort out.]

With Lord Rassilon or with me taking over your zero room for two days?

Both. Rassilon knew how I'd react and yet he went ahead anyway. And I knew when I accepted your custody that you'd need to heal.

Thank you all the same. It was never my intention to put you to any trouble.

I'm glad to be constructive. [They arrived at his room.] Feel better?
