So, I decided to take German again. Basically because I have been researching grad programs and a lot of the docotoral ones want fluency in Hebrew and German. So I figure I'll get German out of the way, and it will be nice to finsh the langauge I took six years of. I can't decide if I want to keep going with Arabic though. It would be really helpful when I learn Hebrew, but learning two langauges at once will be a bitch. Either way, I have a semester to decide because I'll be taking German starting in the fall and Arabic in the winder if I take it.
In other news, grad school is looking good. I might take a bit longer to get a master's because my undergrad won't be Judaic Studies, so some schools might want me to "catch up" and take a few undergrad-level Judaics classes. Shoot. Even if I do get in, I don't think I could do straight to a doctorate program, which I might have been able to do if I majored in Judaic Studies. So, grad school will probably be 6 or 7 years instead of 4 or 5.
