Laura and Clark have made their clean getaway from my house. We are only now beginning the recovery process. There is no food in my fridge worth eating (they spared the Dijon mustard, organic strawberry fruit spread, and baking soda), there are claw marks in the walls and drool marks on the pillowcases from rampant Beatley-fan-girl-ness...
Oh, yes, why I posted this...to brag:
I HAVE SEEN ALL FIVE BEATLE MOVIES IN THE COURSE OF TWO DAYS! BOW BEFORE ME AND KNOWETH MY BEATLE-INDUCED MIGHT!
In order:
A Hard Day's Night: ...it is classic. Watch it every day until you have it memorized. Then show it to your friends. NOW!
Help!: Not the classic of it predecessor due to incredible strangeness, but hilarious. Also, the Beatles film in which they look the most cuddly and loveable. You'll probably watch it many times just because.
Yellow Submarine: An acid trip in animated Beatle form. Worth watching and showing to small children.
Magical Mystery Tour: Possibly the crappiest movie ever. Watch it once to revel in it's utter craptitude, then burn it. Eat the ashes for safety.
Let It Be: The last Beatle movie. Just a documentary about them recording, not very well sounded, and sort of sad because they hate each other. Watch it just to watch it. Then give the tape to your child-hating next door neighbor, whos mind wil explode upon seeing it.
By the way, I'm super excited about reading The World is Flat . Does this make me a nerd?
...
In other news, it's Reena's birthday today! ~toooot~ Yay!
-edit-
And in honor of the happy day, a new Beatles icon! With cake! Hooray cake!
I've Got a Feeling:
Happy
