shit. i keep on forgetting to finish my entries instead i leave them hanging around on my computer for days and never finish them. ok. well i kind of remember what i wanted to say the other day when i was listening to my RFK boot.
so yes. get out your pens and pencils and let's begin.
i was listening to the WA DC bootleg of a DMB show from '00. i was there along with my best friend Alex and her mother. We were about 13, 14 and that was the yr where we took a big roadtrip in the summer and followed DMB for a good 6 shows or so. It was a magical show and listening to that show really made me miss it. I began to feel incredibly sad like something was missing. That was such a good summer, and a part of such a great yr and i would love to go back and wallow in it for a while. It rained the entire show and every song had some kind reference to rain in it whether it was part of an improved mumble or an actual lyric. it was a great setlist. that whole set of shows was really great. i would love to do that again. just hit the road and follow my favorite band. sigh*
i cant really finish this because im not in that moment anymore.
