So jealous!!
Omgosh - I am so jealous of all you AZ peeps!!
Last night the new X-men movie premiered in Tempe. Not only that, but at the very movie theatre I spent a huge chunk of time at last summer! *tears*
I can't believe I live in AZ 16 years and the moment I move out a huge Hollywood premiere takes place. I've always wanted to go to one :(
So yea - it gets better. My bestest movie going friends, Alfredo, Brad, Kate, and Michael all go to watch the star walk the red carpet. It was crowded, well over 1,000 people.
People were dressed up, holding up signs, the whole nine yards. My friend Alfredo was among this crowd with a simple sign that read, "I didn't download the movie!" I guess this created quite the ruckus. Not only did a handful of stars stop to shake his hand, the CEO of FOX personally thanked them. Then, to much of their surprise, he said, "You guys don't have to wait any longer, you're seeing it tonight!"
So all four of my friends watched the new X-Men movie last night. SO JEALOUS. On top of that, Alfredo is experiencing his 15 minutes of local fame. His sign has been talked about on just about every news stations as well as being mentioned by HUGH JACKMAN himself on a morning radio show as being one of his favorite moments of the night. Wow - talk about crazy!
