even though i am of the opinion that humans are spending too much time trying to destroy one another and not enough time trying to get along, i am still continually amazed at the creativity and genius of humanity. i am pleased to be human sometimes just because i am of a species that is always trying to find answers, and always pursuing fundamental truths. i just wish i knew how i fit into it, i guess. i want to study medicine and become a nurse, but what is the meaning of being here on earth?
so far i only have one answer, and that is to help others. to help them survive, to comfort them, to give them laughter or love or whatever is lacking. i don't know if i can do that fully just by being a nurse, but i can't wait to see what i can do in my lifetime.
i feel lucky today, and i don't know why. hope you are all having similar moments of happiness in your lives.
