(no subject)
last night i dreamed i was pregnant.
no offense to anyone on LJ who is pregnant, as you're all happy with it. but i do NOT want to be. it was a really terrifying dream and when i woke up i was like, "OH GOD WHAT!??!" and very appalled.
jeff apparently dreamed about zombies. i think he had the better end of the dream spectrum.
i particularly like my dreams about teeth falling out.
speaking of teeth, today i went to the dentist and got my one [broken] filling fixed, and that tooth that i was going to get crowned filled over. i can't afford a crown now, as it's only paid for 1/2 by the insurance company. i have to pitch in another 500$ for it, at the least. it bites ass. but my dentist was awesome and did all the work for free. the filling i got a month or 2 ago, and it already busted... and the other tooth, he was just being nice about. i can't believe i've been going there since 1998. eek.
tomorrow i am going to a retirement (though he is only partially retiring) lunch at a nice, nice restaurant in the area. yay for work paying. yay for retirement. he's the R & D dude who's been with the company since the 80s or something. very smart, and rather interesting. one day i want to be an engineer, but i hate math, so i'd be the most lame-ass engineer ever.

also, i am making halloween cupcakes. they are yellow with orange-colored vanilla icing, and candy corn and sprinkles on top. i found icing with dye in it, AND sprinkles. i am halloween jesus. (that would be a good costume.)
tomorrow i work, get a FREE lunch, then get to carve pumpkins. then on saturday i go to a halloween party at the same house. heh.
