I did get a scholarship in October just based on my grades. I didn't have to apply or anything. So, that was nice. $1,200, to be split halfway between this semester and this coming semester. BUT I WANT MORE! :-D Plus, when I go to main campus, it will be harder to get scholarships and financial aid in general.
Ah. $1,200.00 buys a year's worth of text books and supplies up here, so I'd be pretty happy with that too.
I understand about that. Because of the combined income of my parents, I wasn't eligble for financial aid in any way, shape or form. I personally had little to no money in my name, so I had to constantly bum money off my parents that year. I couldn't have gotten a loan to put food on the table. Alot of the people that went to my university were rural farm kids, so they got all the student loans and bursaries instead of the city kids like myself.
