writing is the most rewarding and most infuriating thing you can do with your life, i've decided.
aside from the fact that it's impossible to ever get quite right, it's infuriating because you cannot PLAN when you will do it. when the editing bug hits you at 1 am on a Friday night (well, Saturday morning) you had sure as hell better take advantage of it right then, because when you were planning on working it you may end up staring at a screen for a long time and not knowing how to finish it.
who said discount student ticket websites could increase ticket prices to cape town $760 dollars overnight? thanks for absolutely ruining my afternoon yesterday, studentuniverse.com. i fucking hate you. when $2164.40 is a good deal in comparison, something is WRONG.
but it's bought. i leave for cape town on july 20 at 4:-something p.m., arrive in amsterdam at 5:55 a.m. on the 21st, fly to cape town at 10:05 a.m. and arrive at 9:35 p.m. AHHHHHH so freakin' excited!!!
and biking to northampton yesterday morning--16 miles or so i think--was wonderful. panera outside was delightful. and "company" was fabulous!
i have a blender i have never used. we need to have a girly drink night very very soon. next friday and saturday are probably not good, but what about next thursday? (or tuesday... i have no classes wednesday, but somehow i feel like this date won't go over well with anyone else) or, i'm not sure what i'm doing tonight, but i'd like to do something fun. i might go contra dancing again, but i'm not sure.
