Bobby punches him. Punches John, hard as he can, because he's right, because he's always right, because they've seen what she can do, because they saw her almost kill Logan with the barest touch.
"Just shut up. I'm sorry," Bobby says, his voice shaking too much. He doesn't look up when John straightens. Doesn't want to know if there's going to be retaliation. Doesn't want to see the things John is trying to say with every line of his body.
"To touch the Devil is to die," Johnny repeats softly in an acid whisper, and then he's gone before Bobby can punch him again.
