My mom told me a funny story about a hearing she had today. Let's just say, hypothetically, that there was a lawyer named Brandon, and he was giving his summation all serious and professional-like, and mid-sentence he stops, moves closer to the judge and my mom (the stenographer) and says, "Oh my God. Is that a spider coming down?" And it was. A big one. Right between Mommy and the Judge. And this particular judge is horrified of spiders, and starts freaking out saying, "I hear that they can be poisonous!" and KILLS it, which means it will rain tomorrow when we should really have good weather. I wonder if my mom is gonna include that in the transcript. Yes, this is the same judge that threatened to have everyone in the courtroom (including Brandon and my Mom) thrown in jail when they laughed at him. But that's a totally different, hillarious story. He also told my mom last time that she was dressed too casually, so she toyed with the idea of going in a prom dress today.
