(no subject)
im back from a short family getaway! at the swissotel haha. we got a free night's stay so up we went to the 54th floor which had a view over much of singapore. and people were crawling like ants, and cars like bugs.
we had high tea at the equinox.. frankly.. it's just food. hahaha good food la. but still there wasn't anything special. i think im just too low crass and my taste-buds are too worn out from eating hawker centre msg-filled food to tell what is good food and what is not. to me, food means just eat. hahaha so i ate a lot from 3.30 to 5.30 we sat there and ate and ate.
so i emerged a really full girl.. and then we walked around raffles city to shop and i felt quite touristy.. simply because we crossed over from the hotel instead of the mrt station and everything shone in a new light! went to top shop and then slowly my touristy feeling faded off because wah lao see all the same type of faces and same eye-linered, fake-eyelashed lian everywhere. got bored of shopping so i snuck off half-way to ____ ___ and then walked around a bit and discovered a little oriental garden which was quite pretty!
when the sun was setting i went back to the hotel room to reunite with my family for a late supper. went to the food junction hahaha and drank coffee and ate fruits. then we were wondering if we should walk to bugis.. but we had to pass by the hotel along the way then needless to say we ended up back at the hotel room and couldnt get out anymore. so we just took many pictures of the scenery and watched ocean's twelve on tv.

finally we all fell asleep and in the morning we woke up very late.. went back to foodcourt for breakfast at 11am.. then checked out and drove home.
it was freaking fun la! haha okay happy CNY everybody!!
i shall go and repay all my debts by tonight cos i cannot crossover to tmr in debt.
those who think i owe you money SAY NOW AND SMS ME QUICK!
