There are actually sequences that are exactly like in the game (with the grid, [and everything]and destroying ships piece by piece, and everything) - just without any logic.
...it's kind of entertaining though, if you switch off your brain.
That reminds me, I saw a mock trailer for "Minesweeper - The Movie" once. Will that be the next game-to-movie blockbuster? I sense a lot of potential there. *g*
