So, I'm in Indiana. It's crazy and new, and sometimes I get really stressed out because I don't know anyone or where anything is. BUT! We've got a house (mostly) and close on the 25th. It's 3 bedrooms + a HUGE bonus room, 2.5 baths. The master bath has a jacuzzi tub! And a giant countertop. The kitchen rocks and has a center island, but no gas stove. Next house! The garage is 860sq feet!! I can finally put my car in a garage. It will be so happy!! And the backyard is SOOOOOO BIIIIIGG. We just need to put in an L-shaped fence. Then we're gonna make a cute garden + flowers + patio area, with hopefully climbing vines and bushes and Japanese maples. It will SO LOVELY. I'm excited. :)

So all the friends will have to come visit and stay for awhile!

Mark has a cool job where he does super secret stuff!! Working for a defense contractor is woot. I don't have a job yet... the economy rocks. I'm hoping to score a job with Finelight, an advertising agency where I'd be doing HR, but I figure someone with an HR degree will get the job. I applied to be a substitute teacher but I haven't heard diddly from them.

We got a new puppy!!! His name is Zen, b/c he's half black and half white. He's super cute, but only 7wks old and pees everywhere still. He has learned to whine when he has to poop, though. That's great!

Bloomington is pretty awesome, lots of neat restaurants and shops, and feels a lot like Asheville. The highs are typically in the 70s-80s, instead of 90s-100s in Raleigh! I miss Raleigh and friends, especially since Mark & I JUST found great new restaurants and made new friends right before we moved :(. But...we'll just have to go back from time to time! And we still plan on having our Halloween party of awesome -- gonna try to get everybody up for the party, either by plane, train, bus, or car!

Relationship is going well, I was looking over past LJ entries. I'm trying to be so much more positive now, because being negative helps nothing. :O I know, who would have thought? Mark is wonderful, he listens to me and tells me I'm beautiful. We get in arguments about the dumbest stuff, because we're both stubborn, but we always make up and apologize. That's what makes this relationship so awesome. He doesn't accuse me of things or blame me for our arguments. He knows how to handle me. I'm so feisty! :)

There isn't a lot of great sushi up here!!! RAR. I miss Kanki, Sushi Blues, the place in Cary, Mt. Fuji in Durham. Most places up here don't sell sushi rice, so I'm gonna have to learn how to make rice in my cooker! AND I think the sake isn't very strong. But, there is a store called Sahara Mart that sells every kind of sake you could think of, all imported from Japan. Word.

I miss LARPing with every inch of my being and I really wish we could do Athier or Avalon up here. I would still love to staff some Avalon goodness, but no chapters in the area. Athier...well, I still don't like the game system, but some plots are going.....but Bryan is really bad at working on his game and getting events going with more players. FAIL.

So, that's my update. Maybe somebody needs a story written or an event planned? I'll do it!
