Cloak And Dagger

Well today saw me wake up a little heavy in the head (why do I always end up drinking for three people when I go out with Mike? Oh yeah, 'cause he makes me finish his beer... anyway I spent St. Patrick's Day totally sober. Yup decided I wasn't going to fight the bars or the liquor stores and spend money I'd rather not on something I'd just throw up later that night anyway. And everyone knows you never make good hook-ups on St. Pat's.

I did however pick up some more things for my cloak, which is coming along quite nicely. I expect it should look very very bling by this day next week. I'm getting a fair bit of help from my good friend Eda, what with her teaching me to sew and all. Ahh can't wait to get back to work on it. It's a helluva lot of work to put together a good looking Moroocan Burnoose, but I think it's coming together with a lot of help from my teacher.

OH! I also stopped by K.T Boutique & Fabrics on 106 Burnside. Fantastic place if you want some swank fabric of an Indian/Middle East persuasion. I got 7m of black cotton for a new turban for under $20! Fabulous, as they say. I also treated myself to some genuine Turkish Delight from a Mediterranean corner store around the same area. All in all a good day.

Oh and I got a perfect score in Guitar Hero 2 for Dethklok - Thunderhorse! Hey, a man has to have other hobbies...
