I've Got A Plan!
Well it hit me at about 4:00am yesterday morning and it was all I could do to not jump up and write it down. I know how I'm going to present my battle for my Yeomen trial. The battle: The Horns of Hattin. The medium: Sock puppets.
Bear with me now. I get some socks (decent socks that don't say FUBU on them, so I can at least try to pass them off as 'period'), put tabards and crowns and beards and such on them to distinguish the characters: Guy of Lusignan (King of Jerusalem), Raynald of Chatillon, Gerard of Ridefort, Raymond of Tripoli, Balian of Ibelin (looking as little like Orlando Bloom as I can make it), and of course Sultan Saladin. I'll use them to describe the conflicts of the characters that led to the battle as well as the general deployment of troops (with the help of filler socks for the troop deployments).

Oh and I gotta call Axis Chemicals tomorrow and ask about those black barrels...
