I haven't yet to OD on family and food yet...

Turkey fest is almost over. I’m at my aunt’s house in Santa Ana (on my mom’s side) today. They’re doing this Hmong ceremony to bring in the New Year since all the family is here. I got into town on Wednesday night with my step dad. I spent Thanksgiving Day with my mom’s side of the family, then later that night with my dad’s side. I also spent the night visiting my grandmother and hanging out with my cousins. It was really nice I got to see all the new babies and hanging loose with various family members. Friday I spent the night with my best friends from high school April, Trang, and Rabia. It was so much fun to see people from nearly 5 years ago. I was beyond beaming with joy dorking out, getting Thai food, and seeing the new James Bond flick with them.

Saturday morning Cindi picked me up to go get breakfast at Gypsy Den at the Lab. Cindi is one of my closet and dearest friends out here. I adore her and her family just to the pinnacle of all things good. We later headed out to downtown Long Beach. I got to go to one of my favorite bookstore near in the hub of where the Art walk takes place. I was on a quest to find a Gnome book, well a David the Gnome book that I saw there about 2 years ago. Unfortunately it wasn’t there, so I bough a really awesome book on Human Rights. Cindi and I later left there and headed back to her place to wait for my cousin Kat. Our plans were to see Marie Antoinette that night and it was decent. I liked the movie a lot, but it was a very typical Sophia flick making all things look so cool and with an amazing soundtrack to be pretentiously too cool. I was literally watching a 2 hour music video. I adored it really, but it meet my expectation with out the means to surpass it really.

I did really enjoyed the new James Bond flick. I really love Daniel Craig from Layer Cake and when I found out he became the new Bond, I was really excited :D. The movie had more of an over all twist of twist to be twisted again and the action scenes were really well done then just everything blowing up. Daniel Craig is a really great actor and well he’s the first Bond that brought back the demeanor of a British super spy. Casino Royal was a little darker then the other movies and it was brilliant. Between Marie and Bond, it was Bond that won me at the box offices this weekend.

Saturday night I crashed at my cousin Kat’s house. We later went to my favorite coffee shop at the Gypsy Den in Santa Ana (the one in Costa Mesa is ok).Over all today is well my last day back home and I’m really satisfy with all the company I’ve hung out with and everything so far brought the lingers of home to my heart to this holiday season. Everything went down smoothly with out me having a car for once. I’m glad I milked the marrow of out of my stay, I won’t be back for Christmas and maybe back way later next year.

I’ll be back in Arizona tonight around 9ish.
