Yeah, I asked her out to the dance thing. I mean, I'm pretty good at dancing, which I guess you'd know since you taught me, but like Komachi's kind of scary and I know she'll be a stupid samurai and Jim said that I have to be nice to her even if she is a stupid samurai and I mean, I can do that because she's pretty cool, but WHAT IF I THINK SHE'S A STUPID SAMURAI?!

The first step is to calm down, okay? It's just a date. I know it can be pretty scary, but if she likes you enough to agree in the first place, you don't really have much to worry about, right? Being nervous is normal, but if you're freaking out all over the place, you won't be able to have fun! Which is really the whole point, right?

I know it's your first date, but you and Komachi are still friends, right? She hasn't changed into some monster in the time since you've asked her, I promise.

Hold on a second, I didn't say anything about not having to do anything. It's still a special occasion, so there are a few things that you definitely have to do. For a start, don't tell her you think she's a stupid samurai. Even if you think she's a stupid samurai

What sort of things does she like? If she likes flowers, you might want to get her a nice one to give her at the beginning, or some other small gift if she doesn't like flowers. You want to show that you appreciate her.
