I'm back "home" for the week, and it's kind of strange to me. I never intended to move back to Rochester early. Or at least i didn't have that intention ever in the first 2/3rds of the year. The key to understanding this is to that you can only take one position on it. The grab your ankles and enjoy the ride position. Seriously though, it costs entirely too much for this education, many of times from teachers who don't deserve half of what they are paid.

Now, paying out the ass for a degree that will be worth it in the end doesn't bother me. The fact that they still want to fuck you over as much as possible and take more money is the part that pisses me off. They should be bending over backwards for us. After dealing with many departments, I can say with great honesty that they don't give a fuck about you.
