(no subject)
So I have been having a ton of ideas recently for blogs. Even yesterday I typed a blog that I consider to be the greatest blog in the world. SO GREAT in fact, that you should all be on the edge of your seat until the day I post it. (I have some refining to do on it, I'll post it in about a week). While I was trying to figure out why I suddenly had all these idea, a possibility occured to me: I haven't really been partying very much recently. It's not really a suprise that I drink with a few friends on occasion, but recently I have been keeping it clean. Then last friday night I had a few friends over for a couple of games of beerpong and BAM! just like that I have all of these ideas.
Perhaps my inspiration is similar to the type of inspiration Charles Bukowski used. While the first line of that says his inspiration was from the city of LA, he was also widely known as a drunk who wrote rather morbid critical poetry influenced by the bottle. By the way, do you like how I did that? I linked the name Charles Bukowski to his wikipedia article because I know there's at least one or two people who are reading this that didn't know who he is. I think that link really improved the clarity of my journal. I'm going to start doing it more often. I guess it's kinda of a mashup between Adwords and wikipedia...you'll notice I didn't use Wikipedia to define wikipedia, I found that slightly redundant. Also I could probably link to images as well as wikipedia references. Although I don't really think that last one helped. For those of you wondering, that was a picture of the character "Link" for the Nintendo 64 game Ocarina of time. Damn. I could do this thing forever. I mean I really get a kick out of this shit. I'll have you know that that stick figure was done in photoshop....such a waste of a beautiful program.
