This entry is very overdue. The events occurred July 7-9.
Last weekend Aaron and I ventured back to our college stomping grounds of Edinboro University for a three-day food and friend extravaganza. The trip, planned a month or more ago by Aaron and Pudlak, was originally intended to be a complete surprise to me, but the two had to reveal the plan two weeks ahead of time due to their double-booking the get-together during Amanda and Cliff's wedding weekend, which I had been claiming I couldn't attend (I still couldn't, but that's a long story).
When the boys tag-teamed me with the news I was stunned. Crying ensued (I had been very homesick that week anyway), especially when they told me that some of my closest friends, some of whom I hadn't seen in as much as two years, were joining us. Aaron even arranged for us to stay in Scott Hall, and by sheer coincidence we were placed in my old summer room -- #16! Summer in Edinboro is my absolute favorite time of year, because the campus and town are almost empty, and being in the quiet little town is almost like being in a bubble -- a 95-degree bubble.
