Okay, sign ups are now live. Aphrodite_mine is working on a tutorial, but meanwhile, some things to remember as you start thinking about your requests (which we have now increased to allow up to six, but only three are required.):
-This is a women-centered exchange. Optional details, as well as your letters, should reflect this. Do not mention in your letter that you prefer male characters but thought you would try reading something with women this once. This would just make it very hard to find you a pinch hitter, if your assignment is dropped for some reason. ;)
-This is not the exchange to request m/m slash.
-Optional details are optional.
-If you're going to be requesting AUs of a universe you're asking for, consider giving your writer other options in addition to that because your writer signed up for that specific universe and by asking for an AU, you're essentially asking them to write something they didn't sign up for.
-This also goes for writing AUs. Please, be sure that your recipient is receptive to those.
-If you're going to be requesting multiple characters, considering talking about all of them in your letter (if you're writing one!). Your writer may match you on one of the characters that you didn't say much about, and this will leave them thinking that they're writing something you don't really want.
