I love this!!!!!! *_____* It was so cute that I had to reread the first 100 words about three times because I couldn't concentrate through all my giggling and cooing.

How adorable is this?!??!?!?!?
The onyx-coloured dragon waddles onto land with a twitching, barbeled fish in its jaws, wriggling excitedly and prancing to where Yixing sits to show off his kill.

And Tao tearing down half a tree to help with the firewood xDDD

And them sleeping all snuggly and curled up ;;;A;;; <3

I love how you included the story about Yixing's village, it gave the characters just enough depth and backstory and made this whole little world just work (which is not an easy feat in under 2.5k words so ^____^b )

AND YOUR TAO IS JUST SO TAO EVEN AS A DRAGON AJSFHKAJHFKAJ THAT TOOTHY SMILE AT THE END

YOU ARE VERY WELCOME. I HAD A LOT OF FUN WITH THIS, because cat-like dragons are very much Zitao, in my mind. The perfect attitude, even.

I did try to make it all fit without getting too wordy. Once I hit a point, I just lose steam. I'm so pleased that didn't happen with this, and that you liked it so much!
Aaand I see a typo. The very elusive deer fish, apparently. Whoops.

I honestly realised way after the fact that each fic I wrote for you had Zitao. He's one of the hardest for me to write, and I did three fics. Go me. I almost did four, fun fact, but I ran out of time and steam. I still want to finish it, even though there is no Tao.

Lol, I google searched images of deer fish (and I'd link but I'm afraid that would make my comment be marked as spam again, as happened with the one above and I had to ask the mods to unmark it and I don't wanna bother them again ^^;; ) but yep, deer fish are definitely possible in this au so don't worry about that typo~

Yixing is kind of difficult for me, too, because he is like the farthest from me personality-wise, but I can kind of envision that. Zitao ... I dunno. He just gives me problems. He's like Starburst. A juicy contradiction.

I get marked as spam so often ... I don't get it. The mods should be able to see it if they monitor comments at all. No worries. Some people have snagged deer in the water (my uncle nearly shared a boat with a bear, once, even; he never paddled so fast in his life), and we have catfish, so why not deerfish? It makes sense. Who knows where they are, anyway? I certainly don't. They could be a local delicacy. A nice venison fry every Friday or something.

For me, Minseok is the hardest to write, maybe it's connected to the fact that he doesn't talk a lot and he doesn't push himself into the foreground, either, so he hardly reveals things about himself. That makes it difficult to grasp his character.

Starburst!Tao :D Now I want to lick him. ...Not that I didn't before, but xD

It's probably the settings of this community. Every time someone posts a link or includes a pic/gif/video in their comment, it gets marked as spam automatically.

Very true. We only hear stuff about Minseok from the others in the group or when he's in a smaller group on a radio show or something. He's very modest, I think, and that stoic sort of image, broken here and there with the playfulness, is really attractive to a lot of people, but that only shows so much of who he is. (He's still my favourite in M. One of the few older than me, too. orz)

Usually you chew Starburst ... . I wonder what flavour he'd be. Strawberry?

Most of these fic communities, there's no reason for the spam settings. I've never seen any issues; mine were all okay, except some random Russian, which I used to get on my personal account, too. I never understood that.
