He had gone to the animal shelter to see the dog. Dog. Singular. He ended up seeing dogs. Dogs. Plural. And he ended up bringing dogs home. Dogs. Plural. I love this. It's how I see my future, when I finally return to the cat shelter I volunteered at. I have my heart set on a cat, but ... there are just so many.

Ooo~ This is a big business shelter. Big animals, as well.

But the boy is soon gone and Jongin is left with his new babies tangling themselves up in his legs at the front desk. Ugh. Baaaabiiiies.

And to play with more dogs than he could afford to take care of. Story of my life. /bitter weeping

Zitao is Snow White. That's attractive in a man.

“So, uh…” he began, feeling a little silly. “I have a small confession to make. I didn’t only decide to volunteer because I love animals.” o3o Is he gonna be straightforward and direct and avoid awkward flirting?

Yaaaaaaaaas.

Zitao's the cutest animal of them all. I'd like to adopt him and take him home.

EEEEE I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I was in a rush to finish because life kept happening and as I was submitting it I was crying to myself because there was originally supposed to be so much more that went with this that I had to cut for the sake of time and I thought what I was submitting was awful and I was worried you weren't going to like it and SO MUCH MORE!

But I'm glad to see my worries were misplaced.

I have to admit I don't think I've ever read any Tao/Kai fics before. I'm not even sure what their ship name is? Hahaha. This is my first time reading about this ship. Thank you for the cute story author-nim! :)
