I love moments in which Draco starts to undo some of the conditioning he's been subjected to through his family and starts to choose for himself. I think it's realistic that it starts with something small, even if it's just bringing cake, and I love to think about where his growth goes on from there. I could well imagine a moment like this taking place, and this could be a real missing moment in canon! Luna's characterization was also on point, you do her so well!
