When Bellatrix presses her nail into Lily’s lips, the blood runs red.

As a child, Bellatrix thought the name ‘Mudblood’ meant that their blood was like dirt, but she’s spilled enough blood by now to know that that simply isn’t true.

Bellatrix leans in to kiss Lily, who shivers under the touch. Bellatrix wraps her fingers around a bunch of Lily’s crimson hair and tugs until Lily’s neck is bared. Bellatrix’s lips trail down the exposed skin, while her fingers slip beneath Lily’s skirt.

Lily moans in response, one hand coming up to cup Bellatrix’s breast while the other rubs her intimately through her dress.

The dungeon cell is dark and cold, and the only sounds are that of them panting as they bring each other to completion. Lily fascinates Bellatrix, but it hasn’t always been like this.

When Sirius was captured, Lily came with him. Her husband and child had fled, and the Dark Lord chose to turn his attention to the prophesied Longbottom boy instead. Bellatrix had expected to kill Lily - Mudbloods weren’t supposed to live - but somehow Sirius convinced Rodolphus to let Lily stay alive.

So Bellatrix had sulked, cursing the traditions that stated that the husband had the say, and started off torturing Lily instead. But Lily didn’t scream or cry, or cower in fear when she saw Bellatrix approaching her cell.

Instead, Lily would look Bellatrix straight in the eye and say, “do it. What do I have to lose?” And she was right - her husband and child were hidden and safe. To be tortured into insanity would be a blessing.

Her lack of fear took the fun of torturing away, and Bellatrix found herself intrigued by Lily’s ways. She was nothing like the other Mudbloods; she was brave and defiant, smart and beautiful. Bellatrix had married a man out of family duty, but her true passion was for women.

When Bellatrix first kissed Lily, Lily had drawn away and cast her eyes down. And the more Bellatrix touched her, the more reaction she gave. Bellatrix was never forceful with her, because it soon became obvious that Lily wanted Bellatrix too, but didn’t want to allow herself to give in to desire for her captor. To force herself on Lily would give Lily another reason to hate Bellatrix, and that couldn’t happen; Lily had to be willing.

So Bellatrix had pressed, and eventually Lily crumbled. She gave as good as she got, drawing Bellatrix in and mingling shame with pleasure. A Mudblood and a Death Eater should never mix, but Lily was an enigma and Bellatrix wanted to solve her. They spent long nights exploring each other’s bodies, no words spoken so the illusion didn’t shatter; to Lily, it was comfort, and to Bellatrix it was passion and lust.

Lust for someone who was not her husband. Lust for another woman. Lust for a Mudblood.

Her Lord can never know.

Sirius suspects that Bellatrix is having an affair, and he knows Rodolphus must know it too.

“Come to see me again?” Sirius taunts when Rodolphus comes into his room in the dead of night. “Isn’t your wife there to share your bed?”

“Shut up!” Rodolphus hisses, grabbing Sirius’s shirt and hauling him to him.

Rodolphus crushes their mouths together, and Sirius grabs Rodolphus’s arse to grind their crotches together.

This thing between them, it’s always rough, always frantic. Rodolphus always tops, but Sirius knows that a good bottom has all the power, and he’s a good bottom.

Sirius’s room is supposed to be a cell, but his blood status gets him luxuries. This means no matter whether Rodolphus has Sirius up against a wall, or bent over the couch, their perversions are always in the lap of luxury.

Sirius has little to find happiness in; he and Lily are being held captive by his cousin, his friends are all missing, and Voldemort is in control. So it makes sense that Sirius makes the most of what he’s got.

This is why he urges Rodolphus on, demanding him to go harder. Sirius finds satisfaction in knowing that this pure-blood man with the Dark Mark on his arm will fuck another man behind his wife’s back, in a room that costs more than some families make in a year.

Sirius can make Rodolphus crumble, turning him mindless as he gets stuck in a lust-fuelled haze. He’s doing everything that a good pure-blood husband should not be doing, and Sirius knows he holds that over Rodolphus.

“You’re pathetic,” Rodolphus sneers when they’re done. “What kind of pure-blood man are you, imprisoned and getting fucked like a woman every night?”

“What kind of pure-blood man fucks another man like a woman, when he has a perfectly good wife?” Sirius retorts.

Spittle flies from Rodolphus’s mouth as he rages. “Don’t make me take back my order to leave the Mudblood alive.”

“If you do that then I’ll tell dear cousin Bellatrix what you do every night,” Sirius answers smoothly; he has no reason to be afraid of Rodolphus, because what else can he do to Sirius now? “You can torture or kill me for telling her, but that won’t make her forget.”

Rodolphus doesn’t answer, because he knows Sirius is right. Rodolphus may be the man of the house, but Bellatrix is more unstable, and also Voldemort’s favourite.

“I’ll send the elf up with some pain relieving salve,” Rodolphus says gruffly, because it wouldn’t do for his favourite lay to get damaged.

“How considerate of you,” Sirius mutters dryly, dropping onto the plush bed by the window.

When the elf comes, he’ll send another message down to Lily. As long as she’s alive, Sirius will have the will to fight.
