Here I was, reading the pairing and the prompt, and Petrified just doesn't begin to describe it. And I had to click the LJ-cut, of course, and ...

All I can say is, thank heavens it'll be several weeks before I have to teach again, and hopefully the giggly moments will have passed by then.

It didn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out she was holding something and that maybe they should look at it. Love Hermione's stream of consciousness, and she's so very right.

But if I don' use some force, I don' think I can get it in. Up until that moment, my espresso and I were in perfect harmony. Not so much eeewwww as AAARRRGGGHHH.

"I will NOT!" If it had been possible, Hermione would have crossed her legs at that. She and I both.

::hangs head in shame. sort of:: When I saw that prompt on squibstress's wish list, this popped into my head and knew there would be no sleeping until I got it out. O.o

LOL! This is hilarious. Loved the dialogue and Hermione's inner commentary -- she's jumping to conclusions, but who can blame her? Hagrid and Madam Pomfrey are just making it too easy for her (and us). *g* Thanks for a wonderfully fun read!

Dear albalark, thank you for fulfilling this wish (which I confess, I never expected), and so wonderfully!

It is fortunate that I ran out of coffee this morning (fate worse than death!), or my keyboard would be distinctly damp.

I love Hermione's interior voice in this. So spot-on, and of course she would immediately run through the ramifications in her mind and figure out that it meant she could never tell anyone she could hear.

Literal LOL! I loved Hermione's inner voice - especially as she's so intelligent and keen on going over schoolwork-type things, at the same time she's also like anyone else her age (with all the eeeewwwws and ickys and the mental giggling). Also, the bit about the Expansion Charm - LOLOL! Well done!

Also, sorry about all the comment fails.
