Oh wow, I loved that! So beautifully in character for both of them! I was going to quote a bunch of wonderful lines back to you, but now there are too many. :) But this - he's a connoisseur of blood, and this is not wet enough to be fresh or sticky enough to be old - and this - He wants the bedcurtains closed, he wants the lights off, he wants to be on top - are among the best. :)

Thank you! I'm glad it's in character; this is my first time writing Snape. And thanks especially for quoting the lines; I always enjoy knowing what's worked.

Wow. This is really something. You've really captured the characters here; I admit I've never really thought about this pairing, but it makes sense here.

Thanks! I've always been intrigued by McGonagall/Snape, but it was hard to find a way to bring them together logically. I enjoyed giving it a try.

This is very nice! It feels very right for them both, particularly the faintly sad last line... :)

Thank you, shadowycat! You're the gold standard of McSnape writers; I'm so pleased you think the story works.

I've thought of this pairing but was always afraid to go there. This is so well done and in character for both of them. Very ritualistic on both of their parts.

Thanks! I've wanted to write this pairing for a while, but struggled to find a believable way to get them together. So I decided to try taking the relationship as already-existing and working backward from there.
